Beautiful dress but the sizing is off.

This is a beautiful dress. I was so excited to get it. Unfortunately, it was way too big. I am 5’6”, and weigh 190. I wear a 40D in a bra. According to the size chart I should have gotten a size 16. I’ve never worn a 16 in my life, so I ordered the 14. It was way too big. The only thing the style required it to fit was the arms. The arm holes gaped open and hung too low on me. I would exchange it for a 12, but I do not see it offered.
