poorly designed

I purchased this shoe in anticipation of my August trip. I wore the shoe on a cruise, so it wasn't used outside, but the leather is starting to pile and has many marks on it. It feels almost as though I've had this shoe for years; it was an expensive and poorly manufactured shoe.
