Attractive shoe and nice quality but runs small

Love the look of the shoe and thought it would be great with pants. Also thought that the quality was good. However, I deducted 2 stars because the sizing was off and the shoe was very painful. I'm a size 8 and sometimes i need to put an innersole in the shoe for a good fit. However, with these shoes i had trouble getting them on and they were very tight and painful. They run small and narrow. Unless you have a somewhat narrow foot I would consider avoiding these shoes. Also if you plan to try them, consider sizing up a half size.

I only wore them one time so far so good however, I did purchase in wide. I think the standard with would have been acceptable.
