It is leather

Bought them in WHITE and for me, they are OK. The back of the shoes folded which rubbed against the back of my ankles/achilles. That being said, aside from breakimg them in, I wear them like mules - shoes without back constraint, or backless shoes. I gave it a 4 for overall sole comfort, lightweight, pliable leather and style (deduction for back discomfort). Might want to try them on at the store and see if the back of the shoes rubs your achilles.

Very comfortable and cute

I've gotten so many compliments on these shoes, and they're the perfect flat for work and weekends. I might get them in another color.

Finally

I finally found shoes that are comfortable and that I can stand in all day. It’s hard to find shoes in my size (woman’s 11). The price was great too

Really nice shoe

This shoe is really nice. It's a very versitile flat to be worn with both pants or dress wear. I wear a narrow shoe and it only comes in medium or wide but I thought I could put an insole in it. That didn't work so I am returning sadly. Wish shoemakers would realize there are people out there with narrow feet!!!

Extremely comfortable & lightweight

These are lightweight and amazingly comfortable. I take these to work to slip on if my other shoes begin to hurt. Or I use them after work when I am shopping around. They fit true to size, they ease up in the width, so they're not too narrow once you've worn them once or twice times. The leather is very soft, so they're easy on the feet. The cut out leather is trendy and looks nice on; however, I would have wanted a slightly higher wedge or heel to rate them a 5-star. The rubber soles are going to last longer than regular soles and they are easier on the feet when walking. You can't go wrong with these if you're looking for a very comfortable and affordable pair of slip on flats.
