Surprising better than expected

Since I can no longer wear any shoes with the exception of sneakers, I bought Aldo women's sneakers in silver, which is totally out of character for me. I thought they'd look dressier than regular sneakers with dressier pants and a sweater. I didn't know if I would have the intestinal fortitude to actually wear them out in public. When they arrived I was surprised by the way they look. They're very cute and a little less offensive than I expected. I don't think they'll scream for attention. To date, I haven't had occasion to wear them. .
