Beautiful Empire Waist

It's hard to find an empire waist evening dress. This one is beautiful. It runs large though.

flattering dress

The dress is well made and flattering. The sleeves make my shoulders look smaller and the detail on the waist is wonderful. The dress is heavier and lays nicely.

Prettier than the picture!

The fabric, beading and color is even more beautiful than the photo. The color is a between a soft maybe and lavender with grey and silver undertones. There are gathers around the middles to makes the fit more flattering. I re ceived several compliments about the gown!

The style of the top makes it a difficult fit

This is an empire waist fit and a A line skirt area. I am 5’6” 175 and C-D chest a size 14 was tight under the arms but too big in the hips. This dress should be designed like the other Alex evening dress that drops straight and has slight ruching at the waist. If the dress dropped straighter it would be comfortable in the chest and back area and straight to the floor. This dress works best on a women who is narrow on top and much hipper on the bottom. The fabric and color is great, but fit is poor.
