waist band twisted

I have purchased Alex Evenings in the past. I normally love their clothes, but if they have quality control, they did not do a very thorough job. the waist band is elastic, and the material was twisted when sewn. I tried to straighten out the elastic in the waist, but I would also have to tear apart and resew the waist band, and for the cost what I paid, I do not feel I should have to correct the problem. Again, I normally choose Alex Evening Wear, but I was not successful with this purchase, and will return it
