Alex Evening gown.

This Alex Evening gown in a 16 petite looks as pictured and described. The bodice has a nice stretch and the length will be good with 3 inch heels. I usually have success with this brand. It does have maximum coverage which I like, but may not be suitable for someone who wants a more youthful look.

Alex Evening gown

The petite Alex Evening gown with sequins and three quarter sleeves is just as pictured and described. I bought a size 16 petite. I usually wear a 16 or 18 in formal gowns because I am busty (40D). This dress has stretch in the bodice, so it fits perfectly. Length is good since I will be wearing 3 inch heel shoes. I have had good luck with this brand.

Mother of the Groom

I chose this dress as the Mother of the Groom. The Petite Size 10 was perfect length for my 5'4" height and 140 pounds. I don't normally wear a Petite, but this way I do not have to hem the dress, as I will be wearing low heels. The regular size 10 in most evening dresses is too long for me. I like the fact that it has three-quarter sleeves so I do not have to wear a jacket, as I would want to do with a sleeveless dress. I also like this dress as it is understated compared to the dress of the Mother of the Bride.

evening dress

I don't usually buy petite, but they didn't have my size 10 in regular, so I ordered this. It worked out great because the petite made the dress more empire style than the regular fit which made this dress look more elegant.
