Old fashioned service with modern style

I’m a man shopping for my 91 yr old mother. In other words, clueless. The associate took the time from stocking to patiently assist me. Remember how it used to be , customer service. That was at the Annapolis Md store. I revived the same service days earlier at the Bowie Md store. What’s happening? Did I walk into a service time capsule
