Well made. The iron is easy to clean and makes waffles as crisp as you like them.

Great - except for the little things

We have 2 of these and they cook beautiful waffles. Would give a 5 but all the decorative screw covers fell off and the rubber feet protectors don't last. They ripped and fall off easily. Too bad these little things failed on such a nice waffle maker

I purchased my Allclad waffle iron twenty five years ago. I use it on a regular basis. I I think it is finally giving up the ghost. Wish I could find another classic waffle like this one. Really a good product

Great waffles but short lived!

This waffle iron was bought in December 2021. It is two years old and has only been used a few times. Well the waffles have been great but today it beeped and died. The waffle never finished cooking. I am disappointed based on the price and the amount of time this product actually lasted. If it cannot be fixed, I certainly will not spend this kind of money again.

Waffles!

Had to replace a cheaper round waffle maker. This one makes perfect waffles every time.

Built for ease and perfection

This is my first waffle maker ever. I have made several rounds of waffles and have been experimenting with different waffle recipes to find my signature batter. It’s still a work in progress and my first attempt at waffle making resulted in overfilling the plates which caused the batter to run out on the sides. I was immediately impressed with how the groves diverted the spill so it did not end up in the hinge mechanism. I feel it heats evenly across the plates and it’s so easy to use. A light and sound indicates when the iron is at the right temperature and when the waffle is done. I have followed the directions to add cooking oil to the plates before cooking and then waffles come right off- no sticking whatsoever. Another pleasant surprise was how it stores on it’s side. The only word of caution- this particular model is only great for one or two people. It makes a single round waffle that divides into four small wedges. Really perfect for one serving. If you have a larger family , I recommend getting one of the larger units that will cook four square waffles at a time. If the size is what you want, this waffle maker is an excellent product that I highly recommend.
