The description claims that the onside layers of the pots and pans is stainless steel. It is not steel because a magnet will not stick to it.

Horrible set! I with there was a zero star
Bad quality of a very expensive brand name . It was replaced once because I thought it was damaged but it's actually just really bad quality

These are simply the best set of pots I've ever owned! They are high quality and easy to clean. The handles always stay cool making them easy to work with.
Stay away. Horrible product
Horrible set. Not possible to fry anything without food sticking to it. Cleaning it is even worst task, you will be stuck with ugly pens unless you use sanding paper. This is a show product not an everyday cooking item! Save you money and get smth else

I was so excited to get this set, but this has disappointed me with its quality. It’s not worth of the money invested.

that is why this item is on sale, terrible quality I I just bought them and they got terrible stains and burn anything you try to cook I throw the pan's away . unfortunately I didn't know I could have returned them NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Waste of money.
They're alright, but definitely not of the regular All-Clad quality. I've been using the set for ~6mo and the small pot has developed this brown discoloring (hoping it isn't rust...) even though I only ever really boil water in it. The pan has developed this weird haze on it after the first use. I've tried cleaning them numerous times using different tricks, but nothing helps. The set also isn't dishwasher safe which is surprising since most SS All-Clad I've had is. Should've gone with a set that wasn't "created for Macy's"!
READ THIS
All Clad is an awesome product...however if don't know how to cook in stainless steel ...this is going to be a big problem for you. First of all...this pans have to be very hot when you cook something in order to prevent your omelette to get glued or any other food. I use a nonstick pan for eggs and omelets. You can't add food when is warm. That is a big NO NO. Now...to clean it and keep it shine you have to use BAR KEEPERS FRIEND since soap will leave a dull and opaque film. I have been using my stainless steel pans for 20 years and they still look like new.
