Sage McKnight is an architect specializing in “universal” or “inclusive” design for those with different mobility needs. Sage used those talents to redesign Wolf Ridge, a big mountain lodge, for Mason Tucker, an ex-pro baseball player still recovering from an accident that left him hardly able to walk. Now Sage is back in Hope’s Crossing for the holidays to visit with her family, oversee the finishing touches on Wolf Ridge and hopefully feature the finished project on her YouTube channel show, Homes for All. Mason just wants to be left alone after the accident the tragic accident that left him a single father and ended his baseball career. He’s a bit of a reclusive grump and who could blame him after all he went through? But getting to know Sage with her warmth, positivity, and love starts to thaw Mason out and awaken feelings he never thought he’d have again after the accident. Sage has her career path figured out and staying in Hope’s Crossing has never been her plan, but getting to know Mason, seeing his unerring love for his daughter and his resilience after all life has handed him has her yearning for a future that includes love. All is Bright was a magical, heartwarming romance! Healing and forgiveness also feature prominently, as well as a community coming together to help a family in need. Just the kind of story to pull at my heartstrings and fill me with joy!

All becomes bright

The magic of the season is alive at Hope’s Crossing, Colorado in this beautifully written novel. Even though I had forgotten some of the characters from former Hope’s Crossing books, it was written for all to either reacquaint or acquaint themselves with them. The closeness of this ski resort community is evident by the care that is given to those who need it. A Warriors Hope and Homes for All are beneficial to disabled vets and those suffering from life changing injuries. Mason has had his residence transformed to fit his needs through the brilliant designs created for him, mainly by Sage, who has returned to her home town for the finishing touches. Taryn and Charlie have their own story, an added bonus. Internal conflicts can be lightened and resolved with the right people behind them. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and recommend it to all who look forward to reading a bright and fulfilling novel that occurs during the Christmas season.

Charming and heart-warming

It’s always a treat to return to Colorado for another tale in RaeAnne Thayne’s Hope’s Crossing series. Thayne is a pro at writing charming and heart-warming small-town contemporary romances, and this story fits right in with them. I’ve read most of the books in the series, and it was fun to see some of the characters return in this one. The main characters and supporting cast are engaging and well-drawn. All is Bright stars a grown up Sage McKnight as an inspiring and capable architect interested in building and renovating houses for people with differing abilities and special needs. Mason Tucker is a client who needs his house adapted for use with his wheelchair after he is seriously injured in an accident. Although it’s fairly easy to guess the final result of the story, the twists and turns kept me involved and entertained. There is a secondary tale going on between Taryn and Charlie who have been best friends since childhood. With themes of forgiveness, family and community, and hope, this book is a delightful and easy read. Although it’s part of a series, Thayne gives enough back story that it can be read alone. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Heartwarming holiday journey of love and healing

A generous dose of sweet and sentimental holiday cheer! RaeAnne Thayne is giving long time fans the gift of returning to the fan favorite setting of Hopes Crossing this holiday season. The characters are endearing and easy to like, there is love and laughter but also heartache and angst in the mix as Sage and Mason and Taryn and Charlie figure out what life has in store for them if they can see past the pain from their past. I enjoyed every minute of ALL IS BRIGHT! Sage and Mason both have come through a lot to get to the point where they are right now. She is sweet and sincere in helping every person she can in life while living with the sacrifice she made long ago. He's grumpy, yet loving with his adorable daughter and looking forward from the pain of the past the best he can. Taryn is hoping against hope that Charlie will finally be able to forgive himself for the past and move forward with her in the future that she's always dreamed of. Both characters are kind and fulfilling and seeing them overcome their challenges is heartwarming. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a bit of turmoil mixed with their romance while holiday festivities blossom around town.

Another great book by RaeAnne Thayne

This book is part of the Hope’s Crossing series. You do not need to have read previous books as recurring characters are reintroduced, but the story does make a bit more of an impact if you have read the others. Sage is an up and coming architect in her father’s firm. Her area of expertise is building or remodeling spaces that are inclusive for all abilities. Her most recent design, the focus of this story, is a total rebuild of a home to make it totally accessible to a former baseball star who now has mobility disabilities. There are several other story lines, all relating to rebuilding relationships and building new ones. Forgiveness is a virtue hard won. Each chapter is from one of the main character’s viewpoint. Each chapter is clearly marked so it is easy to follow. I love Christmas stories and this one adds all of the warm holiday feels to a sweet story. I always love a RaeAnne Thayne story and this one makes me want to go back and read all of the others that came before it.

First holiday book to read this year!

This was such a terrific story! I'm loving that RaeAnne Thayne's new book is not only a Christmas story but it is also set in Hope's Crossing, the setting for several of her previous books. These characters have been through a lot of adversity in their lives, but you just know (and hope!) they'll find a way to work through to their 'happily ever after'! It's time for all the holiday books to start coming out but I'd definitely start with this wonderful book and return to Hope's Crossing!

All is Bright by RaeAnne Thayne

It’s so wonderful to return to the small town of Hope’s Crossing at Christmastime. Author RaeAnne Thayne writes a heartwarming romance and makes it even better when set around the holidays. This is Sage and Mason’s story with an additional secondary romance of Charlie and Taryn. This sweet romance also brings the reader up to date with Hope’s Crossing residents featured previously in this series, but gives enough information to follow as a stand-alone.
