Great shoe- beautiful leather and love the Danite soles. This color just pairs well with lots of outfits and pants combination. I find AE dress shoes to be a bit narrow- and so a wide size is a good bit more comfortable for me.

Stunning kicks
I've had my eye on the strandmok for years and finally bought the brown version. I own several pairs of AE and a few have come with flaws and blemishes I've ignored for the return process inconveniences, but these shoes are virtually flawless. The stitching is consistent and tight throughout, the sole perfectly shaped, and the vamp is absolutely stunning with the broguing. I've never worn the Dainite versions of AE, but I'm pleased with the aesthetics and comfort.

The Most Stylish and Versatile Work Shoe from AE
I am in awe of this version of the Strandmok Cap-Toe! This shoe has a gorgeous patina with a unique style that combines rugged and refined. This brown, vintage patina can go with jeans or slacks. The Danite Soles make this all weather professional work horse. It is comfortable out of the box and breaks in faster than leather soles Strands! Fits true to size.

Strandmok Captoe Oxford
Just a great shoe - one of the best looking Allen Edmonds shoes out there and probably my favorite pair. Great fit and although needs appropriate break-in, very comfortable daily wear. Well made and fantastic color out of the box.

Beautiful shoe
Excellent fit and finish using high quality materials. The shoes are comfortable, and have slip resistant soles. The burnished look of the leather is striking.

my second pair
I just bought these to replace the exact same shoe. The shoes I am replacing were the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. They lasted me 5 years, and got worn 2-3 days a week. They would not have been a good rebuild because there were holes in the insoles. I wore these shoes to the rally in DC on January 6, 2021, because I knew I would be on my feet the entire day. I remember as we stood outside of the capital building after standing through about 4 hours of speeches at the Elipse and then peacefully marching 1.5 miles to the US Capital, my wife asked me why I was not wearing sneakers, and my answers were that Allen Edmonds are more comfortable than any sneaker. My new shoes are not quite as comfortable, but I think that as I wear them in a little they should soften up, that is why I give the 4 stars and not 5.

Timeless Craftsmanship
I purchased the Allen Edmonds Strandmok and also the black w/ blue bottoms for work and special events. After a few months of regular wear, I’m really impressed with the craftsmanship, comfort, and versatility. Would definitely recommend.
