Loved Farrah’s Perspective

I am such a lover of the Twisted Tale series. Farrah is beautifully descriptive and she does a fantastic job weaving the web and taking you on the journey. The historical accuracy along with her personal roots gave this story a refreshing authenticity that made it so hard to put down.

Cute....

I love that the story picks up in the graveyard when Tiana is still a frog, and the shadow man catches up to her to convince her to make a deal. Tiana takes the deal and gets her father back and her restaurant. On the other hand, she and Naveen don’t fall in love. At first, things are good, but they quickly turn for the worse. People start going missing, and the weather turns unnatural. Lucky Tiana has great friends who are there to help her defeat the shadow man. However, I felt some parts weren’t needed or overwritten. Overall, I love the story!

Great What If Story

This book was a great "what if" story about Tiana making a deal instead of Naveen. However, the only difference I noticed was in the movie Dr. Faciller's magic does not work on him, and in this book his magic does work on him. That was the only downfall with this book, I thought it would have the same logic with the movie. It is a SLOW BURN, and I did get frustrated with how Tiana would act.

Almost there !

absolutely adore this book , I love Tiana and this book truly showed exactly how much she values so many things. Tears were shed and I did stay up till 2 am just to finish it because of how good it was. 10/10 recommend!!

Really Hard to get through.

I have almost all the books in the Twisted Series, and I will say this is one of the books I really had a hard time getting through it. I keep finding myself skipping around to see what happens next because I can't bring myself to keep reading some parts. I've never had to do that with a single book I've ever read in my life. The most I could manage to read was 98 pages out of 456.

Absolutely worth the wait!

This story is definitely worth the wait for all Disney fans! I was mostly excited to know the What-If story for Tiana, and boy, Rochon had nailed this story! It was historically accurate and kept our lovable characters and introduced us to some new ones. This is definitely a chef's kiss!
