The "Marlie" lace -up sandal in maple color is the perfect trip sandal to pack for any get-away for summer because it is lightweight, neutral color and can go anywhere. The perfect alternative to the flip-flop look, because it encases your foot for protection from crowds stumbling into you (Sistine Chapel-Rome, Italy) and completes your outfit, giving you a finished look. Can be worn with long, short, capri length pants; dress, skirt and looks especially nice if you have nice long legs, which I don't. I wear with jeans and capris and just ignore my short legs, focusing on the detail of the sandal. I'm 66 years old, 5'2", stylish and modest dresser. Highly recommend for travel and knocking about town. Flat heel not conducive to touring steps of anyplace, but other than that, a great adventure.
