Great candle for home or gifting

I’ve been in love with Anecdote candles ever since ordering this one specifically for a friend who loves music on vinyl; she raves about it, I tried a couple of their candles off their sale page, and now I stalk all their new releases like I’m deranged. My candle MVP for sure, and this scent in particular is a good take on oud, not too heavy or cloying, not overly animalic, but not insipid, either. Push comes to shove I like the 2021 scent better, with its cedar, but this is a solid choice. No tunneling. Great throw on all their candles. Can’t say every single Anecdote candle I’ve ever tried has been to my taste; however, most of my favorites come from them and I reliably repurchase every time there’s a sale.
