Painful after 15 minutes of use

The earrings are very pretty, but I was expecting the EZ Comfort closure. I bought this and another two tone pair, and I can keep them on for maybe 15 minutes, because after that they are very painful. Is very deceiving that the company is using a regular closure, and still calling it EZ Comfort. This closure is definitely not comfortable!
