Too much fabric, large on top

I was struggling to figure out why this didn't work for me. It looks so cute on the model but it's to much generic and just added bulk and made me look heavier than I am. For reference I'm a small bit pear shape with snap busy and wide hips. The top and waist were too full. This could work well for someone who is full chested and curvy. Material is beautiful and dress is well made. Just didn't fit me. I think it runs large.
