Jacket in lace

This Anne Klein jacket is very pretty. A classic style in soft lace. Lined and feels more like a soft blouse than a structured jacket. I feel it runs large ( I usually wear L or XL blouses and blazers and ordered this in size 8 and it is excellent...can button up but a little tight at hip). The gold buttons are extremely heavy. I want to wear this jacket unbuttoned and when it's unbuttoned the top button area flops over because of the weight (see photo). Yes, I will probably switch out the buttons but this was an expensive item for me and I wish it was perfect as is. The shiny gold and large size buttons are OTT for me and gives the look more of an 80's style than a classic one. The scalloped edging at the collar and cuffs is gorgeous.
