Big disappointment

I loved this top and waited for a good sale and bought it with so much excitement. Wore it and got compliments for it several times. But after a couple of washes, the fabric has become staticky and sticks to my body and I am not able to wear it anymore and I feel so bad when I see it hanging in my closet looking so pretty
