So cute but too much shimmer

I really liked these shoes! I loved the style, and they fit perfectly. But they have gold thread infused in the matariel, and it shimmers. I wanted to wear these to work, but the shimmer makes them too dressy. I wish they had the same color without the gold thread. I also wish they had solid black, but they dont. I wear a size 9. Unfortunately, I will be returning them. It's hard to see the shimmer in photos.
