Solved the issue!

I’ve had the APEC system installed for I think decades now. I was getting high water, consumption bills, and traced it to this valve. The valve paid for itself and about the first two weeks and saved water.

Gets hard to draw after a month or so of use!

It did not fix the problem. . . I found that the screw in elbow attached to the water inlet (stage 1) was cracked spraying water when the valve was opened. Can a new elbow be ordered?

Keeps shutting my water down

This is the second Shut Off Valve that goes bad for me. I've ordered 3 because I really don't want to be without water. After troubleshooting my system, it always seems to point to this little guy. I wish it was designed a bit better.

Based on our review, you have contacted us over the years due to some issues and we have send a lab-tested new RO system and other parts to help. We believe the issue is not the ASO (auto shut off valve) as it is extremely rare for 1 ASO to have issues let alone 2 from our factory experience so we believe there is an external cause (ex. tap water quality, water pressure, etc) we like to work with you at your earliest convenience to determine the cause to take care of this asap. ASO valve

I recently had the ultimate RO perm system installed. The TDS was not stable, it would increase to 80 or more over 5 - 6 days after draining and refilling the tank. The techs at APEC told us order an Auto shut off valve which I had installed in the water line. This has corrected the unstable TDS, the numbers are now consistently under 20.
