caught fire!!!

I’ve bought this candle twice now and both times it has fully caught on fire with the entire inside turning into a pillar of flames! The first time this happened was a couple of years ago and I thought surely it was a fluke so I bought another one since I love the scent. It was not a fluke! The second one fully caught fire and melted a portion of my TV that is mounted above the mantle where it was burning. I’m talking 6in pillar of flames filling the entire candle. Now my house smells like apotheke charcoal x melted plastic and my husband has burns on his hands from trying to put it out. Love the scent but can’t recommend due to the fire hazard :(

A Rare Apotheke Miss

The Apotheke Charcoal scent is mesmerizing, but this soap leaves much to be desired. There is next to no lather, the soap is very drying and I must admit I was surprised that the hand soap is literally black. I presume it will all be rinsed away but there’s a chance that any soap residue won’t look nice on your white hand towels. I will still order the Charcoal candles and diffusers, which are great. The lotion is pretty good as well (although not very moisturizing). I will not be purchasing this hand wash again, however.

Charcoal is the way to go

It was a Christmas gift, at first smelling it I thought wouldn’t like it. After lighting it I love it! Especially after cooking, it get rid of the smell instantly. Definitely on my list to get more!

Smoky sexy smelling candle

This candle has that right amount of smoky and sexy. I had it burning in my powder room but I can also imagine it in a beautiful library or speak easy type bar.

Great Scent!

This charcoal scented candle smells like the perfect sweet wood burning fireplace. It reminds me a lot of Replica by the fireplace, but a bit stronger. The fragrance fills my room when I burn it, & I could even still smell it when I don’t burn it. I highly recommend!
