I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed. I've had a large Blue Diamond Pot for several years & have loved it. Unfortunately, the quality of their product has declined massively-from heavy duty to a lightweight specimen of what it once was.
DANGEROUS BURN WARNING!!!
There is NO WAY that ANYONE can claim use of these for ANY length of time and not burn their hand. In fact, I would confidently claim that anyone that doesn't mention it is probably a bot. Upon inspection, the pan set appears to be well made. However, first time using the skillet, I burned my hand on the handle and nearly spilled bacon grease all over my legs and feet. Our old pans NEVER had hot handles, EVER! I tried another pan, the small skillet, to make an omelet; same issue. So we tried a third pan, the small pot, and made grits. Handle wasn't as much of an issue because it was further from the heat source. The heat transfer into the pan however never seemed to bring the water to boil. Our deduction is that these are not good for use, at least with a gas flame heat source. In fact, I would claim that they are dangerous. ALL handles should have a burn warning and a protective sleeve, ideally a permanent protective sleeve. I wouldn't recommend these pans to anyone until the issue is fixed. So the deduction is that these are not good pans for anything but to smash together to scare or annoy bears from your campsite.

Don't waste your $$$ on these! They worked wonderfully for maybe a month, eggs stick bad, handle gets hot! Low quality pans. Wish I would have never bought them. Take my word! Don't buy them!

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. Awful
I've had this set for a year and a half now. I'm always careful with them, but they easily get scratched and chipped. The coating also holds on to smells. I clean so thoroughly, but the ghosts of meals past still visit me. Pass on these pans.

Poor Service- False gift claim
first of all, my purchase was not recieved yet- When I inquired, Cus. ser. could not find it-- I purchaed a set of cookware and then it showed a gift of a rice cookie because it was a Presidents free gift but it did show on the purchase document. The cus.ser. informed me that if it did not appear on the bill statement then a second delivery would not contain it; basically stating, that I am making it up- now this item is a gift for my 88 yr. wife who does not need such a thing as she has been cooking for me for the last 67 yrs. and I did not ask for a gift. This was a first time order on line for Macy's-- guess what, It will be my self and extended family will never spend a cent with this outfit.

Beware of handles
Consumer Report rated the handles 5/5 for the temp & staying cool. However they do absorb heat. Boiled water in the 2 qt. sauce pan and was very disappointed of the handles getting so warm. Not sure how the other pots/pans handles will stay cool?
