I innovated that shoe

I bought Nimbus 27 in a store almost a month ago on april 25 2025 and wore them every day to walk all day. All kinds of pain on top of my feet made me think and i discovered that the absence of a thick soft long tongue on these shoes creates restriction of blood flow on top of foot, and if you tie them loose than your foot moves up-down the shoe. So i created a foam tongue for these shoes and inserted it between thin tongue and the shoelaces. Looks very innovative. I am attaching photos. Ha ha ha.

Bravo! You've created another masterpiece

With a few exceptions, I have had a 25+ year monogamous relationship with Asic Nimbus shoes, and along the way completed and enjoyed 30 marathons. The Gel Nimbus - 27 continues to built on its great legacy as a high quality, responsive and comfortable neutral running shoe that really stands up to my 5 10" 190 lb. frame. Bravo! You've created another masterpiece.

Nimbus 27....okay but not the 26

15 years of wearing the Nimbus or Cumulus. This year's shoe has a wider toe box and less lateral (inside) support of my foot (slides somewhat). The shoe also makes a "clicking" sound when compressing the arch (I assume it's the support plate). Very plush...maybe a little more firm and responsive in the mid-foot. All told....the 26 was a better shoe, in my opinion.
