Not the same as Nimbus 27

Really like the nimbus 27, but this nimbus 27 track shoe seems far different than the nimbus 27, not as much cushioning which is the reason I buy nimbus.

Popping sound

I have owned multiple pairs of nimbus model shoes but for some reason this is my first pair of 27s and every time I step it makes a noticeable popping sound in the midfoot. It is at the point that I hardly wear them unless I'm running because walking around is a distraction. Has that been noticed by other users? Nick

Is the ASICS Track Club model wider?

The shoe is comfortable. However, it seems wider than the normal Gel Nimbus 27 model. My foot feels like it is swimming in this shoe.
