Asics Unifire TR 3 and Gel Scram 2

Unifire TR 3 and Gel Scram 2 are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I never purchased Asics before because they always were to narrow, but these 2 shoes have me buying Asics for family members and friends as gifts. The comfort of these 2 shoes I think boils down to (1) the light weight, (2) they are not as narrow as other Asics, and (3) the bottom is a type of soft runner, unlike any bottom I've ever seen before on any shoes. I'm not sure exactly what its made of, but it gives nicely even when you squeeze it with your hands. I highly recommend either one of these shoes if you have a hard time finding a really comfortable shoe that looks good.

On my second pair

As a runner with a wide foot, the Unifire in 4E have been the best shoes I have ever purchased. The sole isn't massively thick and this allows me to still "feel" the ground beneath me, unlike standard running shoes. For me, it is a near perfect compromise between no-rise, no-sole running shoes and your standard running shoe with ultra thick heels that taper to veritably nothing just after the ball of your foot. Not knocking any manufacturer but I purchased a pair of NB to replace my 2.5 year old Unifire shoes and I can't wear them. They are the standard styled running shoes. I searched around and found a place that still carried the Unifire and just purchased my second pair. Since they seem to be becoming less available, I might get another pair to put away until these go.

bring back the unifire, most of the other types carry the side design too far down the shoe which makes them uncomfortable in the area that you want the softness People know they are comfortable and are selling them on amazon for inflated prices- however they never have my size which is lucky as I dont want to pay that much

Haven't worn them a lot but so far so good. I really like the look.
