Too tight after years of ordering this series

I've bought several versions of the gel venture before, for years, to the point where I could always reorder 10.5 no problem. But this time the Gel 10 was a different fit, caused me foot and back pain, had to return them.

Classic Asics fit

If you have worn Asics before, these maintain the classic fit. They have good grip without being too clunky or too heavy. great for trail running.

ASICS best athletic shoe for me

Perfect fit and a true fit. I’ve been an ASICS wearer for at least 15 years and recently bought two other brands that did not fit well and are not comfortable.

Quality getting worse and worse

I have been buying every generation of both the Gel Venture and GT Trail series for the last 30 years. I use the GT Trail for the gym and the Gel Venture as a casual shoe to run errands in. Quality of both shoes has been going downhill for the last few years. This latest version the Venture 10 is the worst so far. Support is not the same and it feels like it won't last half as long. If this continues any further, I might have to start looking at other brands.

Inconsistent sizing.

I have been running in ASICS for over 40 years. As of late there is no consistency in size. This is a production quality issue.

Stiff

Looking for a replacement for the GT-1000, but these aren’t as comfortable. These may be great for hiking as they are very stiff.
