Misleading weight
Shoe if fine but listed weight is grossly inaccurate. Asics specification lists the weight at 10 ounces. I purchased the shoes, placed the pair on my kitchen food scale and determined the actual weight to be 24 ounces for the pair. I’m climbing Mt Whitney this summer, about 22 miles and 10,000 paces. An extra half-pound per step means My legs are lifting 5000 extra pounds that day compared to the advertised weight.

GEL-Venture 6-Glad I Found Them!
Of the Gel-Venture line, the 6 is my favorite. They are getting harder to find, and I was so glad to find them here. They are great for walking/hiking, and don't have the break-in period that some shoes do.

Great trail running and overall shoe
I love these shoes and this is now my second pair. I use them to run on pavement, dirt, jetty rocks and the beach. They have great support and good looks. The price I got was excellent. I hope ASICS continues to produce this model.

Comfortable! Get the wider size!
Very comfortable shoe. I wear a 2E (wide) in most shoes and I got a 4E in these shoes. They are right on. I really wish more companies and more shoes were made in the larger wide sizes. I wear a 14wide in most shoes and finding them, and having them actually fit can be an issue.

Excellent Value, good outdoor running shoes
