I was running, when i start to feel something strange behind my feet.. : / They are comfortable and great for easy and hard runs, but have a serious quality issue.

Great for road and Treadmill running
As an older runner (over 60), cushioning becomes more important for hip, knee and ankle preservation. Novoblast (and its future iterations) does the best job. This is my second pair and my first lasted over a year (I run 2 miles, 3 x a week--on pavement or treadmill). Note: the lateral stability on these shoes are not that good due to cushioning, so do not recommend for tennis or activities that need short runs and hard stops. But for running (and walking) these cannot be beat.

Improved Over The Original. but Not a 5 Yet
Don't get me wrong; I like this new version. I now use it as a daily long distance trainer. I could race in the originals as they feel "snappier", but I log my miles in the 2's. Maybe they don't feel as "poppy" as they put more ffblast in forefoot dropping the heel-to-toe drop to 8mm. That may not sound like much but it changes the shoe's "personality". People complained about the original's heel stability nut I never had a problem with it. Now I have a VERY comfortable daily trainer (Nova2) and a quick shoe for tempo days and races (Nova1). Can't ask for more...great job ASICS!

Good Cushion and Drop
I love this shoes. The shoes cushion are perfect on road running. Perfect drop and stability. I run with these 6-8 miles on street with ease.
