SIzing a bit off

It appears that Ascis sneakers have different sizes. A different pair of Asics sneaker size 8 is big for me, but this one Gel 1090 V2 in size 7.5 is tight for me, which means I need to size up to 8 for this one (I usually a size 7.5). Also the sneaker seems a bit hard.

The arch was not in the correct place in the sneakers. The arch was pressing into the heel. I will be returning the sneakers to Macy's.
