Better than New Balance!

I don't know why I stray from Asics, they really are super comfortable, even with my broken toe! I worked out in them the day they arrived, so for jumping and have a good flat sole for stability. I look forward to talking a long walk in them.

Sizing a little different than my usual asics

These shows looked great and seemed like they would be very comfortable but they were a little too small. I wear a size 7 but usually size up in athletic shows and boots. I've been wearing Asics as my #1 workout shows for over a decade and always get a size 7 but my big toe hit the top of the show in these so I had to return. Overall, they are likely great and comfortable shows but I recommend sizing up if you're in between sizes.

These shoes are comfortable and wide toes around which is a big plus. I would recommend for someone that is their feet all day.

Happy Trekker

I bought the sneakers for the color and found that I love them for the comfort they give me. I am not a runner so I can't advise on that. However, I do know that they have great support and are perfect whether you are walking on a treadmill, on sidewalks or shopping at the mall.

comfort and support

I have always loved these Asics Womens GEL-Contend 9 Running Sneakers. I have several pairs of them. I am 70 and enjoy walking on a daily basis. I recently spent a week in Disneyworld and walked anywhere from 12000 steps on the rest days to 22000 steps on the park days. These sneakers are so supportive and comfortable at the same time. I tried the newer ones(gel contend 11) but they hurt my feet(and returned them). This is my favorite sneaker and I have worn many. I shall be extremely sad when they finally discontinue this line.

Good fit

This is a brand I have worn in the past and it is a good fit but this time I went up a 1/2 size and ….they fit much better! It was surprising. They have good arch support and are light weight. The color was unique, too. The only problem I had with my purchase was …the salesperson would not let me use my 25% off coupon as they said the athletic shoe department was NOT part of Macys!!! What? Yet, it is on this, Macys, comment section, you are asking for my review! How is that possible? Not happy about that.

Run short size up

Very comfortable shoe. Pretty color. Brand runs small. I'd be a 8.5 by the size chart, but I'm snug in a 9.5 (and probably should have gone with a 10).
