Delightful details

I’ve been pretty loyal to asics for 20 years, but switched to Brooks for my last pair. I’m getting older and want to take the best care of my knees possible. These were rated at the top of that list. I was skeptical about whether the price was really worth it. Upon trying them on I was pleasantly surprised by small things that only a runner would care about. These tongue is so thin but still strong, the wide and useful pull tab at the heel, the flattened shoe leaves that don’t come untied on three mile runs with a SINGLE knot. And the bounce on these things is wonderful. My knees and bunion thank me for the shoes.

Great shoe

Great shoe - im a 78 year old 140 pound male who fast walks/trots 3 to 4 miles a day and usually wears cumulus 27 - went to the nimbus 27 for some additional cushioning for the winter - could not be happier - great fit and so good to move in - since I'm a aupinator i need a neutral shoe with great heel cushioning and the nimbus 27 is about perfect

Very nice but returned one pair

I ordered two pairs of Nimbus 27. I returned the blue nimbus but kept the pink nimbus. Very comfortable shoes. I wear an insole with my althletic shoes because my fit is between a 11 1/2 and 12.

comfort with noise

This is my favorite style of shoe and I am fiercely loyal. However, the Nimbus 27 has a suction and accompanying sound that happens when walking on clean smooth floors. This is driving me nuts, but I need the shoes for my trip and cannot return.

Great neutral shoe for any distance

This is a great running shoe. I have a neutral to supination gait with a midfoot strike. I use this for both short and long runs on road and treadmill. It's so cushioned it feels awkward to walk in at first, but it's a perfect feel in the run. Also, my husband says they look goofy due to the very high-cushioned sole.
