Zero support or cushioning under your foot.
I bought these a month ago and tried them on quickly then put away until my first trail run. These are absolutely the WORST for trails. One they run a bit smaller than past versions or the toe box is different. Two, I felt every rock, tree root, and uneven surface like I was running barefoot. It really felt like there was nothing under there, no support, no sole, no cushion. Truly terrible and have significantly declined in quality. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a “trail” shoe.

They feel cheaply made compared to other Asics
My shoe size is 6.5 - 7, this 7 feels like a 6. Much too tight around the toes. Thoroughly disappointed. I love all my asics. The fit and quality of this shoe is awful.

I have been wearing the Gel Venture since it was a 5. The 10 is basically the same.

Small toe box
Like the comfort of the shoes, but after wearing for a few days I discovered that the toe box is t wide enough for me

Feel shorter related to toe forced to curl upward
I have about 20 pairs of Asics including 3 Gel-Venture 7 that are my favorite style. These were shorter than my other shoes making the 7.5 feel like a 7. This happened with the TriNoosa as well, I’ve noticed the shoes with the toe curling upward tend to feel smaller. Speaking of which I hadn’t noticed these had the toe curling upward thing when I orders them, don’t like that makes me get toe cramps to force my toes in that direction.
