I love these shoes!

The wide fit Gel-Venture 8 seems to have been designed for my feet. It's a great fit and has solid traction with a thick tread that doesn't make every rock or stick I step on feel like I'm barefoot. I have 4 pairs in 4 different color combinations. They are the perfect balance between being well constructed, durable, supporting my foot and ankle for good stability and still being lightweight and flexible enough that I feel light on my feet. These are perfect for trail running but also just a great daily wear tennis shoe that won't fall apart after a couple months of wearing them.

Not as good as venture 7, but still comfortable

The previous venture 7s seemed to be less bulky with better heel support, but these are a close 2nd. I can walk several miles each day without aggravating plantar fasciitis or high arch pain.
