Decent shoe for a neutral runner.
A good shoe, it does seem to fit smaller than the GT-1000 10 version. I am always surprised by how in most Asics you need to buy a size to a size and a half bigger than every other women's shoes. I am a size 7 to 8 in all women's shoes. Asics 8.5 usually fit with some room for swelling but I feel like I maybe should have sized up to a 9. However, with some wear this could change. I did order two pairs because the GT-1000 generally is always ok. One did come with a minor defect but I am hoping that I will be able to reshape the inverted divot by the big toe.

Asics for gym cardio classes and weight training
Asics never disappoints! Just what I had been looking for. I have Asics running shoes (which I love) , but I also wanted a versatile gym/cardio class/weight training shoe with stability for lateral movements, jumping around and light to moderate exercises using free weights (squats, lunges, upper body etc). The GT 1000 11 fits the bill as it has plenty of cushioning, and fits snugger overall (toe box, dies, and heel) so I feel very secure and stable while doing gym classes and weight training. One foot is neutral and the other slightly overpronates, and I find that the shoes that are made for overpronation are better for the class workouts & weight training that i do.

Definitely will buy again!
I really like the arch support and the extra heel impact gel in these shoes. Very comfortable for walking and exercising. I didn’t need to break them in at all.

Poor materials?
I started wearing these just for pickleball and the top mesh has tears in it as though they are cuts. These will not last at all which is very disappointing because my other 2 pairs of Asics still look good and are wearing normally.

Completely changed shoe
I used to wear the same style for years and I wanted to try the new one thinking that it would be at least the same support and comfort. The fit was nothing like the old ones. It was narrower at the front and wider at the back and it didn’t fit me because of this. The worst part was the support of the old ones was completely gone. I over-pronate and the old ones had wonderful support. I will look elsewhere for supportive athletic shoes.

A little tight on me, next time I will have to get the wide option. Other than that they are a good shoe

Super comfortable! I have flat feet and these shoes let me go on my long morning walks without by feet or ankles hurting!
