One I got wouldn't even turn on.

Doesn't turn on. Seeing if I can fix it but sofar haven't even been able to try it. Haven't had an asus monitor before so I am not sure if this is normal.

Finally, after about 10 years, a new monitor!

I'm not sure of all the reasons I got this unit. One, it had to have one of the latest HDMI ports. It has 2 and I'm not sure how one uses or needs the 2. I also wanted it to have a resolution of 1280 x 800 for legacy apps. Consider my purchase an upgrade from 2 other monitors that are around 10 years old. The power button is in a good place but it would have been nice if it were more predominant. However, once hooked up to a single desktop/PC, I like the way it is turned on when the PC is turned on! I can't talk to how wonderful the graphics are ... it is all to new at the moment and I haven't fired it up yet with something like Blender 4 which requires a more modern CPU. My CPU's are too old to evaluate the types of games this unit was designed for. Upgrading that will have to come later. I have an intermittent "crash problem" with the PC it is attached to. Odds are the problem is corruption in windows or the new fiber optic internet system; but, I can't rule out the monitor just yet. I will try it on other units/laptops at a later time.
