VA249QG Great monitor but could use better speaker

Display quality is good to better; sound quality is poor. I have used ASUS products for more than 20 years and have always had excellent results. The normal build quality is top notch. I choose the monitor to replace a 15-year-old all in one ASUS desktop because of their reputation and my past experience with the name. The display has not disappointed me at all, however the speakers that were used are low quality and sounded flat with no volume. Had to purchase additional speakers and add to the desk clutter.

The built-in stereo speakers are decent for basic use. Yes, you need to install an external speaker system, as recommended, for better listening pleasure. Easy to mount, east to set up. The off on switch takes a little getting use to. But that's not why I go it. It's good resolution and is quick,
