Quality product but ran short for my torso

I purchased this shell in Lady Bug Red, which ended up being a rich, bright color that looked really fantastic. However, the shell was just a bit too short for my torso (not to mention my stomach!) and I ended up returning. This is a frequent problem I run into, so it's less about the product and more about my need for "tall" garments. I highly recommend for anyone because the fabric is silky as you would expect from August Silk and the color was gorgeous. Be aware that it does show every bump and roll.

Please tell me you’re getting more black!

Perfect shell under a jacket or sweater. Great fit. Wash in Woolite for delicates. When are you getting more black?

Great top!

I have 5 of these tops and I love them! They are flattering on too, they look so nice under jackets and cardigans and feel so nice against the skin. They do run small so I always size up but it's a small price to pay for such a well made, soft, nicely made top. I plan on buying more!

Affordable and comfortable

I ordered this in a 1x black, it fits well, doesn't gape around the arms or neckline. I like that it falls around the top of the hip area and doesn't ride up. This is the perfect 'little black tank'

Great shell

This is my second black shell by August Silk. I wore the first one out after years of wear. I was so glad to find it online... think I may need another as a back up when ones in the wash. Great coverage and weight. Love it!

Size is off

I bought several of these and the quality is not as good as some of the August brand that I have purchased before and some colors run bigger than their size. If these were cheaper I'd recommend them.

Comforable

I love the color and it's a nice top. It's a little on the shorter side since I like my tops longer to hide my tummy. Overall I'm not in love but it's cute enough I'll keep it.
