This coat is amazing. It is so chic. It goes with everything from jeans to trousers to dresses making every outfit look elevated. It is heavy denim material - very high quality. It seems to fit true to size. I usually order small and did so in this garment as well. Fits great. It is a longer length which adds to the chicness; I'm 5'5" and it comes mid calf. But that's what's on trend right now lol. I wear it open with the belt tied behind me. If you want to wear a thicker sweater underneath, you may have to size up. Being in So Cal, I can wear with short sleeves or sleeveless top and that's typically fine even in the winter. Get it!
Does not come with a belt
Let me just start off by saying the coat itself is GORGEOUS. I ordered it online and received it quickly; however, when I went to try it on (I was planning on wearing it that night) I saw there was no belt. I checked the package, the pockets of the coat, everywhere but no belt. Then, I came back online to make sure it did say "belt" and it literally says "belted trench coat". I contacted customer service online via chat. The representative was extremely helpful but let me know that they couldn't just ship a belt and I had to return the coat for a replacement (so much for wearing the coat that night). She emails me the return label and immediately sends out the replacement coat with express shipping. The coat arrived today and guess what...no belt! Why, Macy's? Why? I want to know from the other reviewers if you ordered the coat online or in store. And, if so, did it have a belt?
