Beware 3rd party sellers on Macys.com

Waistband too tight for XL size and way overpriced, but unable to return due to Macy's overly stringent return policy and fact was sold by 3rd party on Macy's website. Package arrived shortly before I travelled so I was not able to return it until I came back from long trip, by which 30-day window had just closed. Item is unworn with tags intact. But store would not take it back and all attempts to contact 3rd party seller failed. The 3rd party seller would not answer my inquiries seeking leniency on return policy due to unusual circumstance that I was away during the tight return window. So am stuck paying high price for something I'll never use but will be very cautious before buying anything online from Macy's again. Too much 3rd party stuff on their site now, return policy and customer service is terrible.
