Although you order this top from Macy’s and pay for it through Macy’s if you try to return it you will have to argue with Macy’s when you try to return it. You probably won’t notice the fine print that says this was from a “vendor” and in the case of a return you will have to do that through the vendor. This happened to me and in my case the top was too big and like any other time at Macy’s, I went to the store to return it. They initially did not accept the return and wanted me to call the vendor and work it out with them. After speaking with the manager they eventually took the item back but it was hassle. I buy from Macy’s on line all of the time because I never had to worry about returns, but I know now that I do have to worry about outside vendors. I wouldn’t mind if was J.Jill because they have stores in my area but Avenue stores closed in my area years ago. Pay attention to the fine print as will I.
