Looks better than expected and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. We bought two bookcases and it took us about 2.5 hours to assemble the first one and a little under 2 to assemble the second one. We had a lot of books in storage and needed something sturdy and functional and this bookcase met our needs.
Nice Looking once assembled
This is a nice looking unit and I believe that it will go nicely with the bedroom furniture that we have purchased. It comes with everything that you need other than a screwdriver and I highly recommend a cordless screwdriver since there are over 40 screws/bolts to be used. Every joint is held together with both dowels which you glue in and screws or bolts so it should be very secure. It took me a little over an hour to assemble using a cordless screwdriver. It’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle putting the pieces together but studying the illustrations carefully makes it easier. I do recommend not tightening the screws too tight at first as I seemed to need a bit of give to get the pieces to go together especially when installing the side, top and bottom pieces. As you get closer to the end, you need to tip it from side to side or up on end and that was definitely easier with a second person to assist. Before you start, make sure you have space to have it laid out flat on the floor!
