Good material but poor construction

I bought a Brooks Bros suit and a Brooks Bros tie online since that is the only way that Macy's sells them. They are not the same quality as the clothing I bought directly from a Brooks Brothers store for years. I had problems with the suit and the tie was not constructed well. The first time I wore the tie, the keeper loop to hold the short end come completely loose on one side. After another tying, stitching holding the lining to the tie material is coming loose. I am not rough on ties and have a number of high-end ties. Problems with well-made ties are rare.
