Structural mistake in design

Without a solid "waistband", and only lace that is the same as the hipster, it does not stay in place. Its nice in the photos, but not functional.

I love but the elasticity wears out.

I loved these cute lacy hipsters. They fit me perfectly. I buy a size medium. They did not ride up and looked good under leggings. I’m very meticulous about how I wash my undies because I pay a lot for them. Even with good care I found the elastic had hardly any stretch to it and would loose the elasticity quickly which meant they went into the garbage at a year. So disappointing because they fit me so well.
