Bought this a few months ago and played it last night for the first time. We had eight of us playing so we kept score on paper. It was hilarious. Hopefully Mattel comes up with an expansion pack. Btw - we were all adults ranging in age from 23 to 63.

Great Game!
We purchased this game and have had the best time playing it. We have family game nights frequently. We also invite friends over to play with us. This is a game that we always want to introduce to new people. There has not been one person that we have played this game with that has not loved it just as much as we do. I highly recommend this game for everyone!! My family LOVES it!!

Great for Teens and Young Adults
What a great game, especially for a large group. We played it during our monthly family/mom's group meeting which also happened while we were celebrating my now 13 yr old's bday. Well it was a hit with the teens and young adults. The adults liked it but felt that the focus was better geared towards the younger members. Its fun and allows for creativity and improvisions which helps teens and young adults think outside the box. It was cool to see how much our kids actually know. I liked that it encourages large group play although it isnt the game for those under 12. Nice quality and well made doesn't seem flimsy and its compact but is a lot of fun

Wordplay Fun
I enjoyed playing this game with my husband and son. My husband, a stick in the mud at times, laughed and had a good time. He even encouraged us to keep playing after the first few rounds. The instructions were difficult to understand, so I'm not sure if we played correctly but we enjoyed it nonetheless. We all enjoyed the fact that this game teaches us new, random facts and words. We love learning new things. I plan on taking this game to our family game nights with the in-laws and my extended family.

Great game
My family and I played Balderdash last night and we had a blast! The idea of the game is each card lists people, words, initials, movies, and laws that you've probably never heard of. From there you get to make it up and be as serious or silly as you want. You score points for guessing correctly or for successfully bluffing the other players. I would recommend this game to anyone 12 and older that loves an awesome game night filled with fun and laughter!

Such a fun game!
We had a family game night and we played this game. It was so much fun. So easy to use and it brought the family together. We had a lot of laughs and really enjoyed how simple and easy it was to play. We love family game night and love having fun, simple games that bring the family together. I would totally recommend this product to my friends and family.

Best Game Purchase Ever!!!!
My family and friends have been so happy with the addition of Balderdash.The game has given our family and friends hours of excitement and it is our new go to evening game.Nothing we have played has brought us closer.With the addition of Balderdash to our game collection we have fun reasons to invite over friends for game nights.

The Most Fun I Have Had in a Box
This game was easy to set up and play. I am never good with reading instructions and putting things in motion. That is not the fault of the game producers. I am a hands on learner. Recruiting players was another problem. I believe my family thought it was just going to be another cheesy, boring board game. Once the teenagers saw how much the adults were laughing and having fun, they wanted to play. You definitely need to choose your opponents carefully as some people are just not good at playing this type of game and could be very boring if you are not with the right group of people. Also, two players is definitely not as fun as 4, but any more than 4 and the game would probably take far too long. Even just reading the cards and answers is fun, but making up answers and sharing them is urinate your pants hilarious. I love the part that is even educational as my husband thinks he knows everything, but this put him right in his place. The writing on the cards was a bit small for older players who have problems with eye sight (blame the husband for that complaint). It did not come with pencils like many other games. That was disappointing since all my writing utensils have run away with socks, pacifiers and sippy cups. The scoring is a little complicated and I found myself looking up how to score it many times. The sheet that you write your answers on is small and I wonder if you can order replacements when you use them all? An erasable board would be easy and fun. It is easy to tell whose handwriting is on the cards, so you eventually figure out whose answer it is. My younger children wanted to play, but this is definitely not age appropriate for anyone under 12, so the age recommendation is accurate. Many other games my family has memorized the answers. I believe there are enough cards to play this game for years to come without that.
