10 months agoPerfect dark lavender suit for a wedding
My brother asked me to shop for and send him a purple suit for his wedding. He didn’t want anything too dark. His fiancé didn’t want anything too pastel or Barney colored. So after looking everywhere this was the first suit I sent to him. I thought it would be the first of many. He measures out at a 44R, 38x32 trouser. But he says the 44Rs give him zero breathing room when buttoned up. So, since this is a slim suit I sized up to a 46R jacket with the 38x32 trouser. He wasn’t sure if he was going to like the color and double breast but I was explaining to him all the details as to why this suit is higher class looking, the collar type, chest pocket type, wool, buttons on sleeves, double breast, fully lined jacket, 2 side vents etc. So on FaceTime he tries it on and much to all of our surprises he absolutely LOVES it. He says it fits him to a T. That it’s the best fitting/feeling suit he’s ever had. The only tailoring he said he needs is 1 inch off the trouser and we’ll replace the plain black buttons with classier ones more fitting to the suit. For comparison my brother is 6 foot, has a little extra meat around the mid section, long lanky arms, thicker lower body due to soccer. So, this is def not a skinny fit, it’s a slim fit, but not a big loose Dad old school fit either. Hope that helps.

Disappointed.
Jacket runs a little smaller than the Tayion brand. Had to return.
