Size is inconsistent

This is a nice looking jacket. My husband tried the jacket on in store while we were on vacation in a different state. I decided to surprise him and purchased his size online and had it shipped to our house. When the jacket arrived it didn’t fit him. Very disappointed that the size/cut is so inconsistent.
