Web ID: 14651311Finally, a Ken That Represents Me!
As someone with vitiligo, seeing a Barbie Ken Doll that represents my skin condition is truly incredible! Growing up, I never saw dolls that reflected my unique skin, so this is a huge step forward in inclusivity and representation. The attention to detail in the vitiligo patterns is impressive, and it feels amazing to have a doll that normalizes and celebrates differences. Representation matters, and this Ken doll sends a powerful message to kids and adults alike—our differences make us beautiful. Thank you, Mattel, for continuing to embrace diversity in such a meaningful way!

This is great
My daughter has enjoyed playing with this Ken Fashionista doll. This specific doll is fashioned after someone who has the skin condition of Vitiligo. While we do not know anyone with this condition, it is great to include dolls of various walks of life. We hope this helps teach our daughter that there are people who may look different physically, but are actually not different as people. The doll itself is well crafted and I can imagine it will hold up for years to come.

Great Fashion & Great Learning
The Fashionistas are such a fun and diverse line of dolls! My boys received this doll and another summer-themed Ken doll to kick off summer vacation and both were a hit. The boys thought "Malibu" was a silly-sounding word and kept repeating it, which was kinda funny. I turned it into a geography lesson (well...for 5 minutes) and we used their technology to find out where Malibu was, how far from us, and the difference between a country, state, and city. My sons were also surprised that the doll had a pink swimsuit, but decided it was cool that he would standout at the pool. We are a multiracial family, so we've had talks about skin color, and this doll prompted a really neat discussion about having two skin colors and diversity. We also role played this doll asking to join the group of dolls and the group of dolls asking this doll to join them. In no time, this doll was part of the undercover SWAT team racing monster trucks at the beach, surviving epic accidents, and caught up in the soap opera-ish web of relationship doll drama.

Love it!!
My girls loved the Barbie Ken fashionistas doll! They have a lot of Barbies but not many Kens so they play with him all the time. I would definitely recommend the Barbie Ken fashionistas doll to everyone!

Started inclusive conversations!
My children all enjoyed playing with this Ken doll, and it started some great conversations with my 4 year olds about why some people may look ‘different’ but are still the same on the inside! I love the idea of inclusion within the Barbie brand and hope to continue to see more!

Our first Ken doll
Ken's birthmark helped me explain how different and unique we all are to a small child, and not to mention all the different fashions we like to wear! The sandals were definitely the coolest accessory included!
