When my daughter got this she put it on her shelf saying it was too cool to open lol But after one full day she opened it and has enjoyed playing with it. The details are very nicely done and it has given my little one inspiration to learn karate!

Cute clothes
My daughter loves all things ninja, so she thought this karate doll was close enough. It has removable clothes which include pants and a karate jacket. It has a little black belt attached to the jacket, which is great because little things get lost in our house. My daughter had such fun pretending to do karate moves with this Barbie.

Great outfit!!!!
The karate outfit for the doll is great! The Barbie has nice features and my child was able to move the doll into many positions! She has a great time playing with this Barbie!!! She was able to recreate fighting positions.

Inspirational for all young girls!
My daughter was so excited when she received her Karate Barbie! She’s been taking Karate for a few years and she says Barbie inspires her to keep going with it. Barbie’s gloves are easy to put on and remove and bonus point for being pink! She’s classic and more importantly I love the message this doll inspires on young girls that hard work and dedication will get you far in this world. Overall, I would definitely say this Barbie doll is a must for all young girls!

Really Cute
My daughters LOVE Barbies! They are well made and keep their attention for long periods of time. This doll was exactly that. It comes as pictured, even with the boxing gloves and also had a cute shirt that is not pictured. It is adorable!

Great Features
We got this doll from the Mattel play, rate and review program. My daughter was very excited to see a new sport in the Olympics being showcased as a Barbie. The Barbie comes with many accessories and even an official Olympic shirt to change the Barbie into. The doll is very posable and my daughter loves that she can make it look as if she is really doing Karate moves.

Cute Karateka!
Yay! We finally have the Olympics again and we get to watch Karate in Tokyo! It will be so fun playing with this Barbie and my daughter as we fight for gold! I love that this doll comes with sparring gear that my daughter can put on and off herself. These asscesories seem a bit better than most Barbie shoes and the pink is pretty. My daughter really enjoyed using her fine motor skills to put them on and off, to make Barbie ready to spar. Her belt is sewn to the back of her gi so that is nice to not lose but it is essentially a black ribbon so I did have to help untie and retie her belt with wardrobe changes. The medal has an elastic ribbon to easily stretch over Barbie's ponytail and head and features a gold Barbie silhouette. I wish it were more like an Olympic medal but it is cute. The gi can be removed, leaving Barbie in an undershirt and plastic body printed underwear. I wouldn't try removing the undershirt as it is really fitted and doesn't seem to be designed for removal. It does keep Barbie modest though and is a nice undershirt for her Olympics jacket, featuring Tokyo 2020 on the back. Barbie has articulation in her elbows, wrists, and knees. Her legs can't extend beyond her hips with the ball and socket joint design and sitting Barbie isn't as easy so that was a bummer for matching all karate moves. Her hands are open though and the wrists do allow some creativity though. You might not be able to pose her any way you want but there is some flexibility. Barbie seems to be made from a lighter plastic (less rubber) and feels slightly cheaper than other dolls but if she isn't being played with too hard or being used for collections, she is great. What a fun way to enjoy the upcoming Olympics!
